It states that:
- Kenya is among the countries with a large number of adolescent pregnancies globally
- 103 in every 1000 pregnancies occurs among girls aged between 15-19 years
In addition, 70000 adolescents in developing countries die each year from complications during pregnancy and child birth globally.
